The following are the terms of the sale between the company, named SnackFood.Delivery, and the customer.
Overview
By placing the order on our website, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please make sure you enter the correct information when placing your order. You will receive a confirmation of purchase via email. Please make sure the name, shipping address, phone number, and products ordered are correct. The company will not be responsible for incorrect information entered by the purchaser.
Cancellations
The customer can modify or cancel an order prior to shipping. Once an order is shipped, the order can no longer be modified or cancelled.
Returns
Due to the nature of the products offered for sale, namely kosher food, all sales are final and cannot be returned for a refund. Kosher laws have strict guidelines, and once shipped out, can no longer be taken back for a refund. However, please contact us if you have any issues with your order, and we will be able to provide you with several options of compensation.
Refunds
A refund can be issued if an order is cancelled prior to shipping. Once an order has shipped, the company will no longer cancel an order and will not provide a refund as outlined above in the returns section. If you have an issue with a delivered order, please reach out to customer support, and we may be able to provide a coupon on a future order or other compensation, since we are unable to allow returns. If an order arrives damaged, you may be able to file a complaint with your local carrier that delivered the order. Additionally, you may contact us if you have any issues with your order, and we will be able to provide you with several options of compensation.
Shipping
All orders usually ship FedEx Express International, unless specified otherwise during checkout. Transit times are usually 2 to 10 business days. Processing times are usually 1 business day. Please note: Although most shipments Clear customs and tax authorities quickly, within a day or 2, some shipments may be held longer for inspection.
Customs fees and taxes
All customs fees and taxes are the sole responsibility of the customer, unless specified otherwise during checkout. If an order is returned due to unpaid customs fees, duties, or taxes, we will not be able to provide a refund for returned orders due to unpaid customs fees, taxes, or duties.
Orders of delicate products
Please note: When ordering delicate products, which are susceptible to heat or rough handling, such as chocolate during hot weather or Krembo year round, the customer assumes all risk. We are unable to ship heat sensitive products with ice packs as we ship worldwide, which can cause orders to be held in customs for long periods. Please make sure to never leave chocolate or other weather sensitive products outside in sun or heat after delivery. Please move your shipment indoors immediately. We recommend holding your shipment at an air conditioned FedEx facility for pickup to minimize risk of damage. We will not be able to provide a refund for melted chocolate or other disfigured products due to rough shipping or heat related damages.
